How To Test Your Infra-Red Remote Control With A Digital Camera

I discovered the other day that you can test a handheld infra-red remote control unit by pointing it at a digital camera in photo mode, and pressing the buttons on the remote control. If the RC is working, you should see a blue flash in the camera’s viewfinder.
