OWA For PDA
OWA For PDA is a server-based, client-independent, mobile Outlook Web Access addon. Now you can give your mobile workforce Web browser access to their MS Exchange mailboxes from anywhere in the world that has access to the Internet, using only a simple Handheld PC or PDA (such as a SmartPhone, Windows Mobile, iPhone, Android or Blackberry).
Outlook Web Access (also known as Outlook Web App, or OWA) is an integral part of Microsoft Exchange Server. It allows you to access your Exchange mailbox from any location, using only a Web browser. While this is an extremely useful feature, the standard OWA interface is very graphical in content, and is not suitable for use with small mobile devices, or in low-bandwidth situations.
OWA For PDA is very lean in content, making it very suitable for use with handheld devices. It has also been used as a replacement for desktop OWA in locations where bandwidth is at a premium.
This product is the most effective way to extend Outlook Web Access email and collaborative functionality (including Folders, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes, Address Lists and Public Folders) to mobile computing devices. It is designed to be installed on the Exchange Client Access Server, and does not affect Exchange’s own components or operation in any way.
